My condolences to the Murray family in learning of Nancy's passing. I knew her through the Oxford Garden Club and Seven Ponds Nature Center and now being in the Romeo Garden Club, would not have learned of this sad news without searching the web for information about the Oxford Garden Club. This enthesiastic lady left behind a wonderful legacy and will be greatly missed.

I met Nancy when I joined the Oxford Garden Club. She was a lovely person. She had a great love of flowers and nature. Blessings on your family

The Murrays hired me in 1965 at age 12 to do yard work. As I look back on those years I am struck by what a life changing event that was in terms of the positive influence this family, Nancy in particular, had on my development. I will be eternally grateful and she will greatly missed.

Though she probably wouldn't even remember it, Nancy made such an impression on Noble when he was 3-4 years old (he's 14 now). She once gave him a magnifying glass from Seven Ponds and talked to him about birds for a long time. He still has that magnifying glass and we visit Seven Ponds at least once per year because of her influence. She was a very kind and knowledgable lady.

Thanks for 40 years of sharing your love of nature with me, especially gardening. I will miss sending your birthday card this April but I take comfort in knowing you are where the flowers bloom all year.

Bill and I were both saddened to hear of the loss of Nancy. I know it has been very difficult for all of you,but you have lots of happy memories that will always be with you. You also have the wishes and prayers of your family and friends. We will all miss her smiling face at the nature center.

What a class act Nancy was. If everyone lived their lives by the example she set, the world would be a much better place. She will be sorely missed.

Sue, Jamie, Emily and Will - I was so sad to hear about your mom/grandma. I have so many fond memories of her and I know you will miss her dearly. Words can't express how she touched peoples lives.
