I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. Vavrek was a wonderful teacher. I graduated from RCHS in 1964. He touched all of our lives.

Mr. Vavrek was my science teacher and also my home room teacher during my 4 yrs at Riverview High. (58-61) He was so handsome and the nicest teacher I ever had. I'm sure he will be missed. I'm so sorry to hear this. My thoughts are with his family.

My deepest sympathy to the family of Paul Vavrek. I am very saddened to hear of your loss. I graduated from RCHS in 1961 & I had Mr. Vavrek for homeroom(1957-1961). I also was his student in Biology & Advanced Biology classes in preparation for my career as an RN. He was a great teacher & wonderful person & I feel honored to have known him.
