Mathew "Matt" Barr 9-15-48 to 3-11-10. Lost his fight with cancer on 3-11-10 and went to the lord. He is survived by his loving wife Deborah of 40 years. his two children Mr. and Mrs. Ray (Michelle) Auch and Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Barr also his two grandchildren Alaina and Alexus. He also leaves one brother Robert, his sisters Judy, Linda, Debbie and Mr. and Mrs. Nick (June) Kuharchek. Also many nieces and nephews. He graduated from Pontiac Northern High School in 1966. He was drafted into the U.S. Marine Corps and served his country in Vietnam with an
Honorable Discharge. He loved life and had many friends of which he has known all his life. He loved to play golf, go fishing, snowmobiling and 4-wheeling. He played softball for many years and love teaching his granddaughters to fish in the pond. He retired from the Clarkston Postal Service with 34 years of service and was a member of the Waterford Elks club. Military service will be held on
Tuesday 3-16-10 at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly at 2:30pm. A
celebration of his life will be held afterwards at the Waterford Elks club at 4:00pm. Condolences may be sent to the family.
